Mr. Myette’s lessons are extremely useful to aspiring pianists. Each lesson provides very clear and understandable instructions, which if practised well can guarantee steady progress. Highly recommended!

I’d give definetely give you 10/10 for your teaching technique as I’ve purchased a number of instructional DVDs in the past and was quite dissapointed with them. While the instructors themselves may have been a very well known players and show you some amazing stuff they had no idea how to teach and get that information across to the student. Think thats what I like best about your DVDs, everything is explained thoroughly so you don’t just copy what you see, you actually find out why your doing what your doing so you can use that info yourself. Anyway, keep up the good work….I’ll be back!

Very clearly presented, in a personable manner. Using overhead camera angles helps with understanding of which fingerings to adopt. Theory is used to illustrate certain points but not in an overblown way that could otherwise confuse the student. Overall, gives the modern player what he or she needs in order to start playing with other musicians and to develop musicality.

Willie Myette is not only a great jazz pianist, with a personal sound, he also has the gift of teaching! The lessons were very clear, well structured and informative. I’m a fairly advanced classical pianist (with an MA in musicology) who is trying to make a shift to jazz.

Hello Willie, I don’t usually write testimonials, not even about good things, but your lessons are beyond good. Believe me, I have bought a lot of books about piano playing, I have checked a LOT of “lessons” and videos on the web and yes, there are many good pianists who are trying hard to help people like me, but unfortunately, they are not very good at explaining things. Well, to be honest, some are, let’s say good, but listening and watching to your videos gave me new hope. VERY, VERY easy to follow. I would recommend your courses to anybody who is trying to learn without taking conventional lessons and at his own pace.
