Funkadiddles
Just like drummers use paradiddles to improve their technique and dexterity, as pianists we can incorporate these same techniques into our playing. On this DVD, I’ll show you how to build independence while learning grooves using what I call “Funkadiddles”. This is a concept that I have utilized in my live playing to create enormous “pop” to the groove.
I’ll teach you step-by-step how to play each of these different funkadiddles. These grooves are easy to master and together with the 15 Funk Grooves lesson, will give you countless clavinet, organ, electric piano or acoustic piano groove options.

Hey Al, yes the lessons will help because once you understand the theory, you can apply it to -any- instrument. Many pro bass players, drummers and other non-pianists learn some piano to get more theory under their belt.
